Ballet Workout
an Athletic and Aesthetic
Non-stop Dance Fitness Workout

This class focuses on traditional ballet moves with Pilates and Yoga,
and incorporates high-impact choreographed dance combinations
in a fun and sweaty format.

Class Format: a moving warm-up, floor barre, brief center, stretch, choreographed combinations and Reverance.

Wear your gym workout clothes or dance attire dance sneakers, jazz shoes or ballet slippers

TAS KMIEC appeared on Broadway with Lee Theodore’s American Dancemachine, in Don Quixote with Rudolf Nureyev, and toured nationally in Fiddler on the Roof, starring Theodore Bikel.

He has danced professionally with The Boston Ballet and The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, toured worldwide with Rudolf Nureyev, and has appeared on film and TV. His choreography has been seen Off-Broadway, regionally, abroad, and on tour – including a national tour of Me and My Girl and the Irish premiere of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.

Kmiec was the Artistic Director of Ballet Wester Reserve, and has taught workshops and seminars in Theater Dance, Ballet and Character Dance at leading universities and dance training programs. He is the foremost U.S. authority on Polish Dance and PBS television resident expert on Polish culture, and is the recipient of Poland’s highest cultural honor – The Oskar Kolberg Award.

Kmiec was a principal instructor of The New York City Ballet Workout and has created several dance-fitness programs for New York Sports Clubs and Town Sports International. He is a graduate of Tufts University (BA) and the University of Marie Curie-Sklodowska (BA, MA).

Stas is a member of the professional unions: Actors’ Equity, The Stage Directors and Choreographers Society, Screen Actors’ Guild, and The American Guild of Musical Artists.
