This class focuses on the grace and beauty of ballet, the form and disipline of class, and how to combine the two. Georgia utilizes and conveys her classical Checetti, RAD, Vagonova, and Balanchine training with an easy approach and positive atmosphere. This class will improve posture, concentration, confidence, movement ability and vocabulary, and it will be enjoyable.
EORGIA TUCKER graduated from Tisch School of the Arts with an MFA in Dance. She now is teaching for Ballet Arts, the Great Neck School of Dance, Deborah Bailey's "In Grandma's Attic" program, and dancing for her many talented friends and mentors.
Her own choreography has been seen at Tisch and Brooklyn's DUMBO arts festival. Georgia is a graduate of North Carolina School of the Arts, where she attended five years as a full scholarship student, after which she danced with Houston Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theatre, and Honolulu Dance Theatre.
She has danced the leads in Petrouchka, Frankenstein, and Christmas Carol which were all filmed for television. She also has danced Nutcracker, Les Syiphides, Romeo and Juliet, Billy the Kid, Western Symphony, Scarlet Letter, Paquita, Swan Lake and Giselle.
